In this paper, we studied the changes of Hg and MeHg contents in Liaohe estuarine Suaeda salsa soils under anaerobic conditions by simulated indoor incubation at constant temperature and whether the changes of salinity (CK, 0.5%, 1.0%, 1.5%, 2.0%) affected SRB and dominated the formation of MeHg. The lowest Hg content is found in the subsurface Suaeda salsa soils at 2.0% salinity. The MeHg content in the soil also showed a general trend of increasing and then decreasing with increasing flooding salinity, and the MeHg content was higher at 0.5-1.0% flooding salinity. SRB was present in the soil under all salinity conditions and reached the maximum value at 15 days of incubation. The SRB content was higher under CK, S1 and S2 conditions, and the soil MeHg content showed a significant positive correlation with the number of SRB bacteria, indicating that the formation of MeHg was related to SRB which is of great significance to the study of estuarine wetlands.

Objective To analyze the clinical effects of Jianpi Xiaotang granule on mechanical ventilated (MV) patients with stress hyperglycemia. Methods A total of 88 MV patients with stress hyperglycemia admitted to Department of Critical Care Medicine of Deqing People's Hospital from March 2013 to September 2016 were enrolled, and they were divided into an observation group and a control group according to the random digital table method, each group 44 cases. All the patients were given insulin pump therapy, the observation group additionally received Jianpi Xiaotang granule (constituent: astragalus 2 bags, rhizoma dioscorea 1 bag, radix bupleuri 1 bag, radix curcumae 1 bag, ramuli euonymi 1 bag, rhizoma alismatis 1 bag, rhizoma polygonati 2 bags, puerarin 1 bag, coptis chinensis 1 bag, polygonum multiflorum 1 bag, each bag of granule is equivalent to the original medicine 10 g) one dose a day, 1/2 dose twice a day administered with water orally. The differences in clinically related indexes, insulin dosage, insulin treatment period, MV time, and in the incidences of adverse reactions, such as hypoglycemia and infection were compared between the two groups. Results The insulin dosage (U/d: 25±6 vs. 42±8), insulin treatment period (days: 8±3 vs. 12±5), MV time (days: 10±4 vs. 14±6), the incidences of adverse reactions of hypoglycemia [6.8% (3/44) vs. 22.7% (10/44)] and infection [4.5% (2/44) vs. 20.5% (9/44)] in the observation group were significantly lower than those in the control group (all P < 0.05). Conclusion Jianpi Xiaotang granule can reduce the dose of insulin, shorten the periods of insulin treatment and MV, and decrease the risk of incidences of hypoglycemia and infection in MV patients with stress hyperglycemia.

RESUMO

This study was aimed to objectify Color Inspection in Traditional Chinese Medicine (CITCM). A quantita-tive system for CITCM was designed and developed. The entire system included two parts, which were the hardware and the software. The hardware was an image acquisition device in a standard lighting condition. The software was used for digital image processing. The chromaticity of facial special region (SR) corresponding to five internal organs were calculated. The system was carried out by taking 100 samples of people. It was concluded that the experiment verified the effectiveness of the system in objective study of CITCM. It can be used as basis for the further study on CITCM.

Objective To investigate the expressions of peripheral type benzodiazepine receptor (PBR) and steroidogenic acute regulatory protein (StAR) of testis in rats with chronic ethanol feeding.Methods Forty rats were treated with different ethanol dosages for twenty weeks, the morphology of testis and protein expressions of PBR and StAR were observed.Results In the ethanol-feeding rats, seminiferous tubular wall of testes became thin and the layer of germ cells was significantly reduced, moreover, the broken spermatozoon′s flagella were frequently observed and few integrated spermatozoa were produced.Compared with control group, the protein expressions of PBR and StAR protein were reduced by 13.8%, 20.9%, 50.4% and 34.5%, 37.7%, 95.2% in low-, middle- and high-dose ethanol feeding group respectively by immunoprecipitation.Similarly, both locating at interstitial cells in testes were also decreased by 33.27 %, 37.71 %, 63.59 % and 27.12 %, 51.84 %, 58.41% in the same ethanol feeding groups respectively by immunohistochemistry.Conclusion Both PBR and StAR protein expressions are decreased in interstitial cells of testes in chronic ethanol-feeding rats, which shows positive correlation with ethanol dosage.
